I finished this painting about a month ago but have not had the chance to put it up on the blog. It is a 16X20, oil on canvas. It was a really fun project, and I was able to experiment with a lot of colors that I sometimes tend to go without. It started as an abstract painting but I was not completely satisfied with the end result so I kept on experimenting. In the end, I just went with a picture from my imagination and converted this painting into something a little more impressionistic. I have really enjoyed working with a cooler palette and will probably continue to make pieces that are cooler in color.
